taken during the same camping trip
the light on her face comes from a campfire that is in front of her, as well as a good dozen or more candles that are lit behind me. Perhaps I appreciate this photo more because I experienced the mood of the evening....but I think that the lighting gets it across quite well.
Once again, a 6 second exposure without any tripod or anything solid to put the camera on.
And yes...that is an alcoholic beverage in her hand. and yes...we are underage.
oops.
witchess describes the pic perfectly...the 'candle' in the background give it a very intresting look....great shot

I love it. It's so creepy, hauntingly beautiful. She looks so beautiful in this photograph, and the candles really do make the evening seem magical. *cough cough* It's almost as if you're in love with her.
Love the make-shift candle holders too. I'm sure it was a drag to make them available/empty
6 seconds, handheld? That alone is an accomplishment.
The illumination is perfect. Her face is visible enough, but still shadowy. I love how the candles are distributed in the background--it really conveys the mood.

That's right. You heard me.

And I agree with tank, the title is great.
